Assay Areas
We offer hundreds of assays encompassing different cell types and formats, tailored to your specific biology and application.
The chart below summarizes the range of parameters we can mix and match to customize an assay for you.

Primary Cell Assays
Use of human primary cell types enables us to develop and execute the most physiologically-relevant imaging-based assays for your phenotypic drug discovery needs.
We routinely work with a variety of human and model organism primary cell types including adipocytes, myotubes, astrocytes (human), neurons (rat), endothelial cells, keratinocytes, melanocytes, and several types of immune cells. We also have experience differentiating progenitors into cell types such as adipocytes and myotubes.

iPSCs
We work with academic collaborators and commercial providers to source iPS cells from individuals with diseases including multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia and autism. Disease-specific assays include measurements of markers directly related to the mechanisms underlying the pathology.
Our suite of human iPS-based neuronal assays include models of disease such as ALS and Parkinson's disease. Multiplexed imaging enables measurement of synaptic junctions in parallel with readouts directly related to cellular health.

Uptake and Subcellular Localization
Imaging is uniquely positioned as a platform technology to measure uptake of molecules into cells and track their localization to specific subcellular compartments.
Pick your cell type of interest and we’ll work with you to design an assay to quantify uptake of your biomolecule, whether it is nucleic acid, antibody, peptide, protein-based or something completely different.
Measure the kinetics of bulk uptake into single or co-cultures
Observe and quantify the distribution of your biomolecule within each cell
Understand trafficking and degradation pathways unique to your biology
